Kamal Hossain Chowdhury is the founder and Managing Director of Gents And Gentle Group, currently leading Gents And Gentle Group as the Managing Director. One of the pioneers in apparel profession in Bangladesh, he started his journey from Desh Garments Ltd, the country’s first recognized apparel industry established in 1979. During his long career in apparel industry, he has worked as the country Manager at Stage-2 Apparel Corporation, New York (USA) from 1995 to 2000, later joining ‘Linmark Westman Group of Companies’, an international sourcing agent engaged with Stage-2 Apparel Corp. There he handled a huge number of international renowned buyers up to 1996. Recognizing his own potential, he started his own apparel business in 1997 as a buying agent. His commitment, hard work, coupled with timely delivery of quality products quickly brought his company to the forefront of the Bangladesh industry. Today, Gents And Gentle Group boasts a workforce of 3000+ managed by experienced professionals from its head office near the Parliamentary building in the center of Dhaka.
